As a visual implementation for my project solution, I have put together a collage of photos taken during this School year of all of the Services we provided to the community of Greensboro and the UNCG campus. Throughout this school year, I made a plan to impact as many people as I could and become a more outspoken voice for those struggling with mental; health. During COVID-19 while enrolled at GTCC I believed that my associates would be my only path in life and that I could never achieve more. The numerous Decine letters I received from almost every college in the state of North Carolina, left me in a dark place during COVID-19. I had no campus involvement, no community involvement, and more importantly, I never developed any meaningful relationships with staff or cohorts. As the (BIPS) course comes to an end I want to use this project to highlight that it doesn't take much to help others or provide a helping hand. Being someone anyone can look to is who I wanted to become when I received my acceptance letter from this amazing university to join the new-found "at the time," Reverse Transfer Portal UNCG and GTCC have partnered to provide students with a meaningful track to interestingly completing programs. I first received a decline letter from UNCG in 2019 after graduating high school and was defeated that I would have to tell both of my parents (UNCG Alumni), that I didn't make it. After my acceptance to UNCG in 2022 I vowed to make an impact that would last long after I left UNCG. I can now say that I have many people that I can look to not only as peers because of the resources UNCG has provided me, but also as people I can turn to in my darkest hours, and a place to grow beyond my wildest dreams. As I look back on my over 100 hours of community involvement in a year, numerous relationships I have built with faculty and peers. I would like to say thank you to UNCG for allowing me to grow and help others, even if it doesn't get showcased all the time.

I would like to formally thank my Advisor, Angi Kinsey for writing me letters of recommendation and being the first staff member on the UNCG campus after COVID-19 to make me feel at home.
